Meet our copywriters: Will Thacker

A published author, screenwriter and playwright, Will is a wunderkind whose talent knows no bounds (within the zone 4 Oyster boundary).

As a copywriter, Will has written for big brands in the worlds of finance (HSBC, Yorkshire Building Society, M&S Bank), insurance (Legal & General, Saga), fashion (TK Maxx), food (KFC, Ben & Jerry’s), charity (Fairtrade), tech (Trainline), property (Nested, Zoopla) and countless small startups, cheerful charities and Californian tech bros.

Will has written award-winning campaigns including ‘Digital PR Campaign of the Year’ at the 2023 UK Digital PR Awards for his work with Mindshare UK and Legal & General.

Will’s words have appeared in publications like the Financial Times and GQ. As a speechwriter, he’s ventriloquised masterful oratory for presidents, captains of industry and university vice-chancellors. He has ghost-written more thought leadership pieces than a poltergeist.

Will co-wrote the feature film England Is Mine, which screened in cinemas worldwide between 2017-2019, and continues to work as a script editor and consultant on film projects.
